KC is hot in the summer and HOTTER in the winter... as long as you're at one of Larry's bonfires.

Happy Halloween, Babies!I was safe as Elvis with my own Doctor McSteamy - Truman to keep my heart in check and Lt. Dangle - Davis as head of my security detail.
The Granada Crew dressed to impress!
And as usual Elvis did everything to excess. Happy KC Halloween 2006!

Seabiscuit Drinks Wine
Ryan, of JP Winebar, invited me to a Champagne tasting today at Le Fou Frog, Kansas City's very own French bistro. The event featured grower's Champagnes of which I've become quite fond... thanks to Ryan.
So after sampling some fine vines and tasting delectable appetizers I was in the mood to shop. I found myself at The Cellar Rat and bought a few Champagnes and the tasty reds you see pictured above.

Moving on up...Season 3 of SWAT has been approved. I was promoted to Senior Field Producer in Kansas City. That mostly means more paperwork and responsibility. But with that comes a bigger living / working space. I moved in to a new apartment yesterday. It is pretty sweet! The new building is 909 Walnut - just 7 blocks north of where I was staying during the summer. So I'm still close to everthing I have grown to love about KC downtown.
The bedroom faces east - bah! I am not a morning person and will resist getting up with the sun at all costs.
The kitchen is stylish... maybe I'll work on a pilot for my own cooking show. BAM!
I'm on the 21st floor. This is the highest I've been all summer! Champagne doesn't count. And either does the helicopter ride.

Half-Marathon Man170 squad's Tim Davis ran in the Kansas City Half Marathon. He finished better than he had the previous year. This year he completed the course in 1:57:01 at a pace of 8:56/mile. He crossed the finish line 703rd over all out of 2171 runners. Tim placed 88th in his division.
He had a great cheering section.

Got my INKI've been waiting months for this. I finally got my ink. Chet of the MERCY SEAT Tattoo did the work himself. The tattoo symbolizes the summer I spent with SWAT. It is the COMBAT logo from the Street Narcotics Unit. The bullet commemorates, 8/7/06, the day we filmed the 1910 squad taking fire on a warrant.
I'm already thinking about my next tattoo!

Heavy Vest
This is the Point Blank body armor that I wear at work whenever filming with the SWAT teams. With my accessories and ballistic plates added the vest weighs about 35 pounds.
Fashionable... Yes. And SAFE!
